Role Purpose

The Software Engineer will be responsible for software development support, product and service configuration, application support, operations support, and security compliance for VoMS and USSD systems.

The role combines software engineering, systems operations, telecommunications, databases, APIs, and security.

Key Responsibilities

1. VoMS & USSD Operations

• Operate and engineer VoMS and USSD systems.
• Provide technical support for system operations.
• Ensure system reliability and availability.

2. Change Management

• Manage and support changes to VoMS and USSD systems.
• Ensure changes follow appropriate processes and controls.

3. Product & Service Development

• Support development and configuration of products and services on VoMS and USSD platforms.
• Assist with application and service configurations.

4. Project Support

• Provide technical support for VoMS and USSD-related projects.
• Work with relevant teams throughout project implementation.

5. Security & Compliance

• Support security controls and compliance requirements.
• Ensure systems and applications operate according to applicable security standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Good knowledge of database management systems.
• At least 2 years’ experience in system support and software development.
• Knowledge of relevant programming languages such as C/C++, Python, JavaScript, PHP, Java, or Golang.
