Job Purpose

HaloPesa is seeking a Product Design & Development Officer to support the design, development, testing, launch, and continuous improvement of products and services based on customer needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Research

• Support the design and development of new products and services.
• Conduct product and customer research to identify business opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into product features and customer journeys.

Product Testing & Launch

• Coordinate product testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Consolidate testing feedback and follow up on identified issues.
• Support product launch and Go-Live activities.

Product Performance & Improvement

• Monitor product performance and customer feedback.
• Identify product gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of approved product enhancements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Technical, Finance, Compliance, Operations, Customer Care, and Marketing teams.
• Maintain product requirements, specifications, and development documentation.
• Coordinate activities across relevant teams to support successful product delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, IT, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in:
  • Product development
  • Product management
  • Fintech
  • Banking
  • Telecommunications
• Experience in UAT, market research, or digital financial services will be an added advantage.
