About the Roles

The Zanzibar Collection is seeking experienced hospitality professionals to join its Food & Beverage (F&B) operations in Zanzibar.

The successful candidates will oversee F&B operations across restaurants, bars, room service, and events. They will lead the F&B team, maintain high service standards, manage costs and inventory, and work closely with the Hotel Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

The F&B Manager and Assistant F&B Manager will be responsible for:

• Leading and coordinating the F&B team.
• Overseeing daily food and beverage operations.
• Maintaining high guest service and hospitality standards.
• Managing cost control, inventory, and stores.
• Supervising restaurants, bars, room service, and events.
• Ensuring efficient operational procedures.
• Working closely with the Hotel Manager on F&B operations.
• Leading a diverse and multicultural team.
• Maintaining a refined and consistent guest experience.

Requirements and Skills

Applicants should have:

• Proven Food & Beverage operations experience in a 4- or 5-star property.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, inventory, and stores management.
• Excellent guest-facing service and hospitality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Experience working with a mixed and multicultural team.
• Ability to remain calm, organised, and effective under pressure.
• Previous international hospitality experience is essential.
• A Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Fluent and polished English communication skills.
