About the Position

Africa Safari Trips is seeking an Italian-speaking Tour Sales Consultant to manage customer inquiries, bookings, payments, travel arrangements, and customer support for Tanzania and other East African destinations.

The successful candidate will prepare customised itineraries, manage invoices and bookings, resolve travel-related issues, and contribute to weekly and monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication

• Manage inquiries, bookings, and payments through WhatsApp, email, and phone.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with clients.

Itinerary Preparation

• Create tailored travel itineraries based on client requirements.
• Assist clients with suitable travel arrangements and experiences.

Invoice Management

• Prepare client invoices.
• Follow up on outstanding payments.

Customer Support

• Handle booking updates and changes.
• Respond to customer feedback.
• Resolve travel and booking-related issues.

Sales Contribution

• Support the achievement of weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Help convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
• Excellent command of the Italian language.
• At least 2 years of experience in tour consulting or hotel operations.
• Proven experience selling Tanzania and other East African destinations, including:
  • Kenya
  • Uganda
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Willingness to work varied hours when required.
