About the Position

Africa Safari Trips is seeking a Swedish-speaking Tour Sales Consultant to manage client inquiries, bookings, payments, travel arrangements, and customer support for Tanzania and other East African destinations.

The successful candidate will prepare customised itineraries, manage invoices and bookings, resolve travel-related issues, and contribute to weekly and monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication

• Manage inquiries, bookings, and payments via WhatsApp, email, and phone.
• Communicate professionally with clients throughout the booking process.

Itinerary Preparation

• Develop tailored travel itineraries based on client requirements.
• Assist clients in selecting suitable travel experiences and arrangements.

Invoice Management

• Prepare invoices for clients.
• Follow up on outstanding payments.

Customer Support

• Handle booking updates and changes.
• Respond to customer feedback.
• Resolve travel and booking-related issues promptly.

Sales Contribution

• Support the achievement of weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Convert customer inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
• Excellent command of the Swedish language.
• At least 2 years of experience in tour consulting or hotel operations.
• Proven experience selling Tanzania and other East African destinations, including:
  • Kenya
  • Uganda
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Flexibility to work varied hours when required.
