Vertex International Securities Limited, a leading licensed Dealing Member of the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE), Investment Adviser, and Fund Manager, is seeking talented, innovative, and results-driven professionals to join its growing team.

1. Manager – Advisory & Capital Markets

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the origination and execution of corporate advisory and capital market transactions, including equity and bond issuances, private placements, M&A, valuations, and financial restructuring.
• Develop financial models, valuations, investment and information memoranda, proposals, and presentations.
• Advise clients on capital raising, corporate finance, and strategic transactions.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Lead financial, commercial, and market due diligence.
• Coordinate transaction execution with professional advisers.
• Ensure timely regulatory approvals and compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Drive the development of innovative capital market products, including structured products, CIS, ETFs, REITs, green finance, and Sukuk.
• Coach and mentor junior professionals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A Master’s degree in a related field is an added advantage.
• CISI qualification or coursework is highly desirable.
• CFA, CPA, ACCA, or other internationally recognized professional qualifications are an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, securities, capital markets, or financial advisory.

Key Competencies

• Strong strategic and commercial acumen.
• Expertise in financial modelling and business valuation.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and capital markets.
• Expertise in transaction structuring and execution.

2. Securities Trader

Key Responsibilities

• Execute buy and sell orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor financial markets, prices, and market trends.
• Advise clients on suitable securities and investment opportunities.
• Conduct market analysis and identify potential investment opportunities.
• Maintain accurate trading records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Securities-related courses or professional certifications are an added advantage.
• Prior experience in securities trading or financial services is an added advantage.

Key Competencies

• Sound knowledge of financial markets.
• Knowledge of securities and investment products.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of securities trading processes and regulatory requirements.

3. Intern – Research & Analytics

Key Responsibilities

• Data analysis and interpretation.
• Research and report writing.
• Data visualization and presentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:

• A related field

A strong academic background in quantitative and analytical subjects will be an added advantage.

Key Competencies
