SHIMBIROYAL LODGE – KOROGWE, TANGA

Shimbiroyal Lodge is seeking qualified, motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team in Korogwe, Tanga.

1. HOTEL MANAGER — 1 POSITION

Requirements:

– Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or a related field.
– At least 2 years of experience in a Hotel/Lodge Manager or supervisory position.
– Strong leadership, communication and customer-service skills.
– Good knowledge of hotel operations and staff supervision.
– Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
– Creative, attentive and able to work under pressure.
– Computer literate, with the ability to handle basic hotel records, bookings and administrative tasks.
– Ability to communicate effectively in English and Swahili.
– Basic understanding of hotel finances, cash handling and reporting will be an added advantage.

2. HOTEL ATTENDANT — 2 POSITIONS

Requirements:

– Certificate in Hotel Management/Hospitality Management or a related field.
– Previous experience in a hotel, lodge or hospitality environment will be an added advantage.
– Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
– Well-presented, disciplined, respectful and attentive to guests’ needs.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
– Willingness to work flexible hours and under pressure.

3. CHEF / COOK — 1 POSITION

Requirements:

– Certificate in Cookery, Culinary Arts, Food Production or a related field.
– Must have valid proof/certificate of professional culinary training.
– Practical experience preparing a variety of local and international dishes for different groups and occasions.
– Creative and knowledgeable in menu preparation and food presentation.
– Strong knowledge of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.
– Previous experience working in a hotel, lodge or restaurant will be an added advantage.
– Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain consistent food quality.

WORK LOCATION:

Korogwe, Tanga

SALARY

Salary will be negotiable based on qualifications, skills and experience.
