1. Personal Secretary – 27 Positions

Qualifications:

  • Form Four education or above.
  • NTA Level 4, 5 and 6 in Secretarial Studies recognized by NACTE.
  • Computer and internet skills.
  • At least 2 years of work experience.
  • Fluent in Kiswahili and English.

Key Duties:

  • Typing and preparing Union documents.
  • Maintaining office records.
  • Receiving and directing visitors.
  • Handling and forwarding office communications.
  • Maintaining office cleanliness.
  • Maintaining confidentiality.
  • Performing other duties assigned by the supervisor.

2. Lawyer – 4 Positions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a government-recognized university.
  • Completion of Law School and admission as an Advocate.
  • Fluent written and spoken Kiswahili and English.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Tanzanian citizenship.
  • Applicants with a teaching background will have an advantage.

Key Duties:

  • Handling cases involving TTU and its members.
  • Interpreting laws and legal documents.
  • Providing legal advice to teachers and TTU.
  • Handling employment-related disputes.
  • Following up on challenges affecting teachers with government offices and employers.

General Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be Tanzanian citizens.
  • Be 45 years old or below.
  • Have at least 2 years of work experience.
  • Attach a birth certificate.
  • Submit a detailed CV with reliable contact information and 3 referees.
  • Attach relevant academic and professional certificates, including Form IV/Form VI certificates where applicable.
  • Attach one recent passport-size photograph with the applicant’s name written on the back.
  • Have foreign qualifications verified/authenticated by relevant authorities, including TCU and NECTA where applicable.
  • Submit genuine academic and professional credentials.

Applications may be written in Kiswahili or English.
