Job Summary Amana Bank is seeking a qualified Branch Manager to be based in Arusha. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the customer base, managing deposits and financing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading branch operations to achieve set targets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
-
Grow customer base, deposits, financing book, and overall profitability according to set targets.

Maintain the liquidity position of the branch through advance planning at minimal cost.

Monitor and control branch operational costs.

Ensure branch compliance with existing banking regulations, policies, and procedures.

Maintain strict adherence to KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) norms at all times.

Maintain a low risk and high audit rating for the branch.

Coach, motivate, and lead team members to achieve branch goals and provide exceptional customer service.

Serve as Chairperson to the Branch Management Financing Committee.

Strong knowledge of branch banking operations and Sharia-compliant bank products and services.

Excellent written, verbal communication, and relationship management skills.

Proven ability to mentor, lead a team, and maximize resource utilization.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic planning skills.

Exceptional customer service orientation and time management skills.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of working experience in banking, with an extensive background in Branch Management.
