Position
QC Manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, preferably within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience in analytical chemistry and laboratory instrumentation.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical quality control, microbiology, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Professional qualification/certification in Chemistry or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise QC laboratory activities.
- Ensure testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Oversee analytical and microbiological testing and laboratory documentation.
- Review and approve laboratory results and reports.
- Support investigations, deviations, CAPA, and continuous quality improvement.
- Manage and handle a team of six (6) analysts.
