Job Summary

NBC Bank is seeking Direct Sales Agents to support the sale of retail banking liabilities (deposit) products at its Tegeta Branch. Successful candidates will help achieve agreed sales targets in line with the bank’s business objectives through proactive selling, effective customer acquisition, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver strong sales performance by identifying and meeting customer needs through the sale of deposit products.
2. Provide direct sales support through quality lead generation and effective follow-up to convert leads into sales.
3. Participate in sales activations and marketing campaigns to achieve specific targets.
4. Support customer onboarding through the bank’s website and digitally connected channels.
5. Complete account-opening procedures with customers in accordance with NBC Bank policies and requirements before submitting applications to the Operations team for processing.
6. Comply with NBC’s operational risk management requirements, including health and safety standards, premises security, Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, and anti-money laundering regulations.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Education: At least a Form Four certificate, diploma, or degree.
2. Minimum Age: 18 years.
3. Knowledge of banking products.
4. Good organisational and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
6. Strong teamwork skills and individual accountability for results.
7. Excellent follow-up skills and the ability to manage sales activities effectively.
8. Must reside in Dar es Salaam Region.
