About the Union
Songea and Namtumbo Cooperative Union Ltd was established in 2003. The Union operates under the Co-operative Societies Act No. 6 of 2013 (as amended in 2025) and is registered under No. AFF-RVM-SON-MC-2023-26.
The Union brings together 62 primary Agricultural Co-operative Societies, mainly engaged in tobacco farming across Songea and Namtumbo Districts in Ruvuma Region.
Its mission is to enhance the efficiency of tobacco marketing and provide essential services, capacity building, and support to its member societies.
The Union invites applications from qualified and committed Tanzanians for seven (7) vacant positions based at its Songea Head Office.
