Role Overview

The Accommodation Manager will oversee all accommodation-related departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining luxury hospitality standards across the resort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Porter, and Butler departments.
  • Deliver outstanding personalized guest service throughout guests’ stays.
  • Lead, train, and motivate an accommodation team of approximately 20 employees.
  • Maintain 5-star service standards and compliance with international hospitality requirements and Relais & Châteaux commitments.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager and department heads.
  • Manage departmental budgets and monitor performance indicators such as occupancy, guest satisfaction, and cost control.
  • Handle guest complaints and sensitive matters professionally and discreetly.

Qualifications

Education

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Luxury Tourism, or a related field (Bachelor’s, MBA, BTS, etc.).

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar management role within a luxury hotel or international 5-star property.
  • International hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Africa is an added advantage.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • French language skills are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and hotel management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and service excellence mindset.
  • Professional appearance, discretion, and integrity.
