About the Company
Vertex International Securities Ltd (Licensed Dealers of DSE | Investment Advisers | Fund Managers) is looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join their team.
Job Responsibilities

Maintain the general ledger and post accurate journal entries.

Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.

Prepare and file statutory tax returns (VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, corporate tax) on time.

Process payroll and related statutory deductions.

Ensure the company complies with the Capital Markets and Securities Act and the regulations, rules, and guidelines issued by the Capital Markets and Securities Authority (CMSA).

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Maintain fixed asset registers and compute depreciation.

Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.

Professional Qualification: Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of working experience in an accounting or finance role.
