Role Summary

Smartuna Technologies Company Limited is looking for a dedicated and skilled Assistant IT Technician to join their team and support technical operations with accuracy and integrity. The Assistant IT Technician will support the IT team in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring smooth and reliable IT operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Configuration: Assist in installing and configuring computers, software, and network devices.
Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide timely support.
System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and backups of systems and equipment.
User Management: Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Cybersecurity: Support the IT team in ensuring cybersecurity and data protection.
Asset Tracking: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, and support activities.
End-User Support: Provide support to end-users and assist in resolving technical issues.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Core Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Experience: Practical experience in IT support or a similar role (added advantage).
Technical Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems.
Soft Skills: Good communication and teamwork skills.
Mindset: Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
Certifications: Valid certification (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, or similar) is an advantage.
