Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to drive business growth by achieving sales volume targets, increasing market share, and improving competitiveness through the delivery of market-driven, differentiated customer service across assigned market segments.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance

  • Achieve sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Deliver growth in sales volumes and market share.
  • Ensure all assigned sales KPIs are achieved, including pricing, product availability, and visibility.

Distributor Management

  • Manage and supervise distributors within the assigned sector, including:
    • Order management
    • Payment follow-up
    • Product redistribution
  • Monitor distributor performance against daily volume targets.
  • Ensure distributors maintain the required model stock levels across all brands and packaging formats.

Product Availability & Merchandising

  • Ensure AB InBev products are consistently available with a complete product range in customer and retail outlets.
  • Ensure effective merchandising and brand visibility through:
    • Point-of-Sale (POS) materials
    • Chillers
    • Brand displays
  • Ensure chillers are:
    • Properly positioned in high-performing outlets.
    • Used exclusively for AB InBev products.

Market Execution

  • Monitor and ensure recommended retail pricing is maintained at sales outlets.
  • Regularly monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Visit all retail customers within the assigned territory on a weekly basis.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Deliver excellent after-sales service.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure effective communication channels with customers.
  • Provide timely feedback to both customers and management.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.

Team & Compliance

  • Ensure sales team members remain professional and presentable at all times.
  • Take appropriate action when company standards are not met.
  • Maintain all required trade documentation while in the field.
  • Represent the company professionally during all customer interactions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of FMCG sales operations.
