Position Overview

EarthLungs is seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial professional to lead the implementation of the BEEyond Trees initiative in Tanzania.

The role focuses on building a sustainable beekeeping and honey value chain program that supports ecosystem restoration and improves community livelihoods. The coordinator will play a key role in developing a conservation enterprise from the ground up, working closely with communities, restoration teams, and market partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the BEEyond Trees initiative in Tanzania
• Develop and support sustainable apiculture (beekeeping) systems
• Build and strengthen honey value chain programs
• Engage and train local communities
• Collaborate with conservation and restoration teams
• Support enterprise development and market linkages
• Promote environmental conservation and sustainable livelihoods

Required Experience

Candidates should have experience in:

• Apiculture and honey value chains
• Community engagement and training

• Natural resource management and conservation initiatives
