Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Growth Manager who can turn ideas into revenue, partnerships into scale, and strategy into measurable outcomes. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building pipelines, closing deals, and strengthening Serengeti Bytes’ market position. This is not a passive role; you will be expected to lead from the front.

Product Portfolio You Will Manage

You will lead growth efforts across the following areas:

• Ride-hailing platforms and public transport/mobility solutions.

• Creator economy platforms.

• Product verification and trust systems.

• Awards and events platforms.

• Magazine and media products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own business growth end-to-end.

• Identify, evaluate, and execute new revenue opportunities across products, services, and partnerships.

• Build and manage a strong sales and partnerships pipeline.

• Lead client acquisition efforts from prospecting to closing.

• Develop growth strategies backed by data, not assumptions.

• Work closely with leadership, technical teams, and communications teams to align growth efforts.

• Represent Serengeti Bytes in high-level meetings, pitches, and negotiations.

• Track performance, report results, and continuously refine growth strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development, growth, or sales leadership.

• Strong commercial instincts and deal-making ability.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

• Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

• A track record of measurable growth outcomes.

• Standout Qualities: Experience in technology, digital products, or consulting; a strong network within Tanzania or the East African region; and a strong bias for action.
