Job Purpose

The Cash Academy Program Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of the DMT Cash Academy.

The position coordinates:

  • Cash and Voucher Programming (CVP) training activities
  • Digital learning initiatives
  • Learner support systems
  • Student enrollment and tracking
  • Faculty and mentor coordination
  • Knowledge management and reporting

The role contributes to strengthening World Vision’s global capacity in Cash and Voucher Programming while promoting innovative, high-quality, and scalable learning solutions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Program Planning and Delivery

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and maintain training calendars.
  • Prepare and distribute application packages.
  • Coordinate training logistics and schedules.
  • Monitor course module delivery and completion rates.
  • Support continuous improvement of training programs.

2. Digital Learning and Course Development

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing digital training and learning modules.
  • Utilizing relevant e-learning technologies and platforms.
  • Reviewing and testing digital learning content to ensure quality and engagement.
  • Applying innovative instructional design approaches.
  • Updating and improving course materials based on:
    • Learner feedback
    • Organizational priorities
    • Emerging learning needs

3. Training Tools and Facilitation Support

The coordinator will:

  • Identify and implement suitable online facilitation tools.
  • Develop facilitator guides and toolkits.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to trainers.
  • Support effective online and blended learning delivery.

4. Student Engagement and Learning Support

The role involves:

  • Tracking:
    • Assignments
    • Learning journals
    • Participation levels
  • Responding to learner inquiries promptly.
  • Providing ongoing student support.
  • Maintaining student progress dashboards and records.

5. Application and Participant Selection

Responsibilities include:

  • Advertising and disseminating calls for applications.
  • Managing the online application portal.
  • Reviewing and compiling application records.
  • Supporting onboarding and orientation of selected participants.

6. World Vision eCampus & Humber College Administration

The successful candidate will:

  • Enroll students into the World Vision eCampus platform.
  • Manage enrollment into Microsoft Teams learning channels.
  • Coordinate student administration activities with:
    • Humber College
  • Resolve eCampus-related technical and administrative issues.
  • Generate participation and enrollment reports.

7. Documentation and Knowledge Management

The position requires:

  • Managing MS Teams and shared document repositories.
  • Collecting participant and facilitator feedback.
  • Developing recommendations for program improvement.
  • Documenting:
    • Success stories
    • Lessons learned
    • Best practices
  • Supporting organizational learning initiatives.

8. Graduation and Final Reporting

The coordinator will:

  • Organize graduation ceremonies and related logistics.
  • Coordinate preparation of certificates with Humber College.
  • Compile and submit final program reports.
  • Support program closure and documentation processes.

Required Qualifications

Education

Applicants must possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • International Development
    • Education
    • Social Sciences
    • Humanitarian Studies
    • Related disciplines

Experience Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in humanitarian or development programming.
  • At least 2 years of experience in:
    • Cash and Voucher Programming (CVP)
    • Food Assistance Programs

Preferred Certification

Professional certification in Cash and Voucher Assistance is desirable, such as:

  • Cash Learning Partnership (CaLP) Certification

Knowledge and Technical Skills

Candidates should demonstrate:

Humanitarian Programming Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Cash and Voucher Programming (CVP)
    • Market-Based Programming
    • Humanitarian principles and standards
    • Food assistance interventions

Digital Learning Expertise

  • Experience designing and delivering digital learning content.
  • Familiarity with:
    • E-learning platforms
    • Learning Management Systems (LMS)
    • Online training technologies
    • Instructional design methodologies

Administrative & Reporting Skills

  • Training coordination
  • Learner tracking and reporting
  • Data management
  • Documentation and knowledge management
  • Stakeholder coordination

Language Requirements

Required

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
