Position: Clinical Officer
Number of Positions: Five (5)
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Examining, diagnosing, and managing patients according to national treatment guidelines.
- Prescribing appropriate medications and developing treatment plans.
- Providing emergency medical care and first aid services.
- Referring patients to higher levels of care when necessary.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and medical documentation.
- Participating in health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education activities.
- Collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring compliance with professional ethics, hospital policies, and Ministry of Health guidelines.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Medical Officer In-Charge.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Be registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT).
- Possess a valid Practicing Licence.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
