About the Role

Top Universe NGO is seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead its operations in Tanzania and advance its mission of making technology education more accessible.

The successful candidate will oversee country operations, establish and manage local partnerships, supervise programme delivery, and grow the organization’s local team. The role requires a strong understanding of Tanzania’s technology and education sectors, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for education and social impact.

The Country Manager will work closely with the organization’s global leadership team while exercising autonomy in making decisions that respond to the needs and opportunities of the Tanzanian market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all Top Universe NGO operations in Tanzania.
• Build and manage partnerships with local organizations, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee programme delivery and ensure that activities meet established quality standards.
• Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop local team members.
• Develop and implement a country-specific growth strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives.
• Represent Top Universe NGO at local events and engage with the wider community.
• Track, monitor, and report on country-level performance metrics and social impact.
• Identify opportunities to expand access to technology education across Tanzania.
• Coordinate with global leadership to align local operations with the organization’s overall strategy.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Education, or a related field.
• Work Experience: At least five years of experience in operations, programme management, or business development.
• Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of Tanzania’s technology and education landscape.
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record of building and managing teams.
• Professional Network: Strong connections within Tanzania’s technology ecosystem.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
