Role Overview

Yas Tanzania is seeking a Credit Control Executive – Risk Management to oversee customer credit risk, manage debt recovery, and ensure healthy cash flow. You will evaluate client creditworthiness, monitor receivables, and enforce collection policies while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Credit Assessment: Evaluate credit risk for new and existing clients to keep exposure within approved limits.

  Buy Maps

   

• Portfolio Monitoring: Track key financial metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and aging receivables.

• Collections & Dunning: Lead payment collection efforts and enforce dunning/post-dunning processes according to company policy.

• Customer Notices & Queries: Issue statements, payment reminder letters, and account notices; resolve billing disputes and customer queries.

• Churn Reduction: Identify and resolve credit issues that cause service suspensions or customer dissatisfaction.

• Process Enhancement: Help refine and improve internal credit control and risk procedures.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, or Risk Management.

• Certifications: CPA or ACCA is a strong advantage.

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in credit control, collections, risk management, or financial operations.

• Core Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of debt recovery and credit risk assessment.

  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • High ethical standards, accountability, and teamwork.
