Role Overview
The Digital Content Officer is responsible for creating and managing digital content that communicates the school’s impact, strengthens engagement, and supports fundraising and marketing goals.
The role focuses heavily on:
- Social media storytelling
- Digital marketing campaigns
- Content production (photo, video, design)
- Audience engagement and analytics
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media & Digital Campaign Management
The successful candidate will:
- Create, publish, and manage social media content
- Schedule and post across all digital platforms
- Run and monitor digital marketing and fundraising campaigns
- Evaluate and report on campaign performance
2. Content Creation (Photo, Video & Design)
Responsibilities include:
- Producing photography and videography content
- Creating visual concepts for social media and marketing
- Developing content for multiple departments (academic and administrative)
- Editing and publishing digital media content
3. Analytics and Reporting
The role holder will:
- Track social media performance metrics
- Monitor Google Ads and digital campaign results
- Evaluate content effectiveness and audience engagement
- Provide regular performance reports
4. Copywriting and Storytelling
The candidate will:
- Write persuasive and engaging social media copy
- Develop storytelling content that supports fundraising
- Create content that increases awareness and donor engagement
5. Collaboration and Coordination
The role involves working closely with:
- Assistant Team Lead – Communication and Content
- Assistant Team Lead – Marketing
- Internal academic and administrative departments
Required Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Marketing
- Graphic Design
- Multimedia
- Related fields
Experience Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in:
- Social media content creation
- Digital marketing
- Content measurement and evaluation
Technical Skills
Candidates must demonstrate:
Content Creation Tools
- Canva (essential)
- Adobe InDesign
- Video editing (iPhone-based or similar tools)
Digital Marketing Skills
- Social media campaign management
- Paid and organic campaign execution
- Audience engagement strategies
- Trend adaptation and content innovation
