Job Summary

NBC is recruiting Direct Sales Agents to support the sales of retail banking liabilities products, particularly deposit products, at its Tandika Branch. Successful candidates will help achieve agreed sales targets in line with the bank’s business objectives through proactive selling, customer acquisition, and the provision of excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver strong sales performance by identifying customer needs and selling deposit products.

2. Provide direct sales support through quality lead generation and effective follow-up to convert leads into sales.

3. Participate in sales activations and campaigns to achieve assigned targets.

4. Ensure newly onboarded customers actively use their accounts and are connected to digital banking services.

5. Assist customers with account opening in accordance with NBC policies and requirements before submitting applications to the Operations team for processing.

6. Comply with NBC operational risk and control requirements, including health and safety standards, premises security, Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, and anti-money laundering regulations.

7. Perform other related duties assigned by the line manager.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Education: At least Ordinary Level education (Form Four).

2. Age: At least 18 years old.

3. Knowledge of banking products.

4. Strong sales orientation and excellent communication skills.

5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking individual responsibility for results.

6. Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of following up on leads effectively.

7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to assess priorities quickly.

   8. Must Be Residents of Dar es Salaam / Living in Dar es Salaam.
