1. Background
Africa Inland Church Tanzania (AICT) is an evangelical church registered in 1965. The Diocese of Mara and Ukerewe, commonly known as MUD or AICT-Mara, was established in 1993 and is located in the northern part of Tanzania. The Diocese operates across nine administrative districts: Musoma Municipal Council, Musoma District Council, Butiama District Council, Bunda District Council, Bunda Town Council, Rorya District Council, Tarime District Council, Tarime Town Council, Serengeti District Council, and the Ukerewe Islands.

With approval from its funding partner, World Renew Tanzania, AICT-MUD plans to scale up the five-year Integrated Climate Smart, Food Security and Resilience Livelihood (ICFL) Project, covering the period 2027–2031.

The project will promote integrated and sustainable approaches to food security and livelihood improvement, including Conservation Agriculture, Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), Nutrition, and Gender and Development.
