Position Overview

The Finance Intern will be responsible for supporting and managing accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash collections, payment follow-ups and account reconciliation.

The successful candidate will help ensure timely customer payments, accurate financial records and compliance with the company’s financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate invoices for smartphone sales.

• Reconcile cash collections.

• Monitor accounts and Hub/Shops to identify non-compliance concerns.

• Update internal systems with daily cash collection records.

• Follow up on customer payments.

• Ensure correct revenue allocation.

• Prepare and analyse accounts receivable ageing reports.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information.

• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with all related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or a related field.

• 0–2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational and time management abilities.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
