• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Experience: 3+ years of progressive professional experience in a similar role.
• Location: Based in or willing to work in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Detailed Position Descriptions

1. Finance Manager

• Professional Certification: Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered with the relevant professional body.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial management or senior accounting roles.
• Availability: Candidates must be ready to join immediately.

• Financial Management & Strategy: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, accounting activities, financial control systems, and annual budgeting processes.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with IFRS and ensure full compliance with local statutory tax regulations (TRA) and audits.
• Risk Management & Internal Controls: Maintain robust internal financial controls, manage corporate banking, cash flow, payroll, and conduct variance analyses for executive management.

2. Learning and Development Officer

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Learning and Development / Training Officer supporting both new hires and existing teams.

• Training Program Design & Delivery: Design, implement, and facilitate comprehensive onboarding and continuous training programs for both new hires and existing staff.
• Training Needs Analysis: Conduct skill gap analyses across departments to identify specific learning needs and align training initiatives with organizational goals.
• Curriculum Development: Create engaging training modules, workshops, standard operating procedure (SOP) manuals, and e-learning resources.
• Performance Impact Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
• Career Development & Coaching: Facilitate professional development plans, mentorship programs, and ongoing skills development across the workforce.
