Position Summary
Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam is seeking a passionate and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead all Food & Beverage operations across the hotel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest experiences, providing strong leadership to the Food & Beverage team, ensuring compliance with Hyatt brand standards, driving revenue growth, maintaining operational efficiency, and upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and oversee all Food & Beverage operations across hotel outlets and banqueting services.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining Hyatt brand standards.
- Provide effective leadership, coaching, and development for the Food & Beverage team.
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvements.
- Foster a positive and customer-focused working environment.
- Support colleagues in achieving their professional development goals.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
Experience
Applicants should have:
- At least 3 years of experience in food service operations.
- Previous supervisory or management experience within the hospitality industry.
Required Skills & Competencies
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent customer service and guest relations skills.
- Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple Food & Beverage outlets effectively.
