Position Summary

Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam is seeking a passionate and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead all Food & Beverage operations across the hotel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest experiences, providing strong leadership to the Food & Beverage team, ensuring compliance with Hyatt brand standards, driving revenue growth, maintaining operational efficiency, and upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead and oversee all Food & Beverage operations across hotel outlets and banqueting services.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining Hyatt brand standards.
  • Provide effective leadership, coaching, and development for the Food & Beverage team.
  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvements.
  • Foster a positive and customer-focused working environment.
  • Support colleagues in achieving their professional development goals.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.

Experience

Applicants should have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in food service operations.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience within the hospitality industry.

Required Skills & Competencies

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and guest relations skills.
  • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
