Duties and Responsibilities

The Gardener Supervisor will perform the following duties:

1. Lead and manage a team of gardeners in carrying out daily gardening activities.
2. Assign duties and monitor staff performance to ensure quality work.
3. Develop and implement weekly and seasonal gardening schedules.
4. Plan watering, pruning, planting and landscaping activities.
5. Supervise the planting, trimming, fertilizing and general maintenance of flowers, trees, lawns and other greenery.
6. Ensure proper maintenance of walkways, fences and outdoor furniture.
7. Ensure the correct use and maintenance of gardening tools and equipment.
8. Monitor inventory and request supplies, including seeds, fertilizers and tools, when necessary.
9. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture or a related field.
• Fluency in both English and Swahili.
• Ability to supervise gardening activities and coordinate daily tasks.
• Willingness to ensure the proper care and maintenance of landscaped areas and gardening equipment.
