Duties and responsibilities

• Daily inspection on all DG site installations, mobile generators and tower lights (Kubotas) – reporting to the Workshop manager.
• Carry out routine and periodic service and maintenance on all DG installations, mobile generators and tower lights.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on all DG sets and tower lights to ensure all are in good operating condition.
• Troubleshooting and repairs on DG sets.
• Follow up on AMS System Job card opening and Closing upon job completion.
• To follow up on pending spares under procurement for service, preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Assist workshop management with strategic stock planning for critical and preventive maintenance parts.
• Other assigned duties in line with company goals and departmental objectives.

Qualification and skills required

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of Working experience in Heavy plant workshop/ Generator maintenance.
• Must be fluent in English and Swahili.
