Host/Hostess

Location: Serengeti

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally.
• Check reservations and manage seating arrangements.
• Escort guests to their preferred seating areas.
• Attend to guests and provide personalized service.
• Provide information about the lounge, menu, and available services.
• Coordinate with waiters, bartenders, and other lounge staff.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Maintain a professional appearance and high grooming standards.
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality, especially for VIP guests.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess, Guest Relations Officer, Receptionist, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role is an advantage.
• Experience in a high end hotel, VIP lounge, restaurant, airport lounge, or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Basic computer skills.
