Human Resources Manager
Location: Moshi, Kilimanjaro
ABOUT COMPANY
Laryan, a growing hospitality company, is seeking a competent, proactive and professional
Human Resources Manager to establish and manage its Human Resources function.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an HR professional who can establish effective HR systems,
strengthen employee administration, and provide consistent HR support across all company
branches.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establishing and maintaining an effective HR function and employee database
• Maintaining complete, accurate and confidential employee personnel files
• Coordinating recruitment, selection and employee onboarding
• Managing employment contracts, probation and other HR documentation
• Administering employee attendance and leave records
• Coordinating performance appraisal and employee development
• Supporting employee relations, grievances and disciplinary processes
• Coordinating staff induction, training and development
• Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and standard HR forms
• Preparing monthly HR reports and workforce statistics
• Monitoring staff turnover, absenteeism, overtime and other key HR indicators
• Providing timely and accurate HR information for payroll processing
• Providing HR support and regular visits across all company branches
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial
Relations or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant HR experience
• 3+ years in management role
• Experience in hospitality, restaurant, hotel, retail or other high-volume service
operations will be an added advantage
• Practical experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and
HR administration
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with HR and/or payroll software
• Good understanding of Tanzanian employment requirements and HR procedures
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and support multiple branches

The successful candidate will be expected to establish the HR function from the ground up,
introduce practical HR systems, and help create a professional, accountable, and productive
workforce.
