Sava-Tech Financial Services is a private company duly licensed by the Bank of Tanzania to engage in microfinance operations within Tanzania Mainland, which currently owns and operates a trading name Sava Loan, Sava Loan is an online lending platform that aims to provide affordable financial services to African consumers and small businesses who have limited access to financial products from traditional banks
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join our team. The intern will assist the IT department with technical support, system maintenance, and software development tasks while gaining practical experience in a professional environment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware and software issues
- Assist in troubleshooting network and system problems
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems
- Help maintain IT documentation and records
- Assist in software development or website updates (if applicable)
- Perform system testing and debugging
- Participate in IT projects and team meetings
Required Qualifications
- Recently completed a diplomain Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with MS Office and basic troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL, SQL Server)
- Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of cybersecurity basics
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

- Duration: 6 months
- Type: Full-time
