Job Title: IT Sales Officer
Location: Dar es Salaam
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Base Salary + Commission
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated IT Sales Officer to market and sell ICT products and solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, closing sales, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Promote and sell IT products and solutions
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documents
- Conduct client meetings and product presentations
- Follow up on leads and close sales
- Maintain existing customer relationships
- Meet monthly sales targets
- Conduct market research
- Update sales records and CRM systems
- Work closely with technical teams to deliver solutions
- Handle negotiations and contracts
- Provide post-sales support
Requirements:
- Diploma in Sales, IT, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 1 years experience in sales or related role
- Good knowledge of ICT products and services
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-driven and target oriented
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in B2B sales, especially in the IT sector.
- Existing network of IT decision-makers and business contacts.
