Role Purpose

To ensure that Airtel maintains valid, compliant, and well-documented contracts with all corporate customers, while supporting efficient customer onboarding, service activation, and contract lifecycle management.


Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Validity and Renewal Management

  • Work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure proactive initiation of contract renewals at least 90 days before expiry.
  • Track the contract renewal process from initiation through execution to final archival.
  • Ensure Airtel always maintains valid and enforceable contracts with all corporate customers.

2. Contract Archiving and Database Management

  • Maintain a searchable Contract Master Database containing all customer contracts.
  • Record all variable contract information for each customer, including details that differ across contracts.
  • Ensure both electronic and physical contract files contain complete and valid documentation, including:
    • Know Your Customer (KYC) documents
    • Authorization documents
    • Customer contract terms
    • Valid business registration documents
  • Ensure the Contract Master Database is fully populated, indexed, and hyperlinked to allow easy retrieval of both electronic and physical records.

3. Customer Onboarding and Service Activation

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure all new contracts are signed and completed within seven (7) working days.
  • Scan, archive, and properly index all new contracts in both electronic and physical formats.
  • Maintain accurate contract records within the Contract Master Database (Excel-based with hyperlinks).
  • Collaborate with the provisioning team to ensure activated accounts strictly match contractual specifications.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in KYC or contract administration.
  • Hands-on computer skills, including:
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Basic scripting skills (added advantage).
