Loan Officers Supervisor
Role Summary
The Loan Officers Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of Loan Officers to ensure strong portfolio performance, high-quality client engagement, and strict adherence to credit policies and procedures. The role focuses on supervision, performance management, loan quality assurance, and operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Performance Management
- Supervise and monitor the day-to-day activities of Loan Officers.
- Ensure Loan Officers meet or exceed agreed performance targets as outlined in the business plan and projections.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of Loan Officers and recommend remedial actions to the Business Center/Branch Manager and/or Regional Manager.
Credit Assessment and Monitoring
- Support Loan Officers in client pre-screening, including eligibility checks, credit history reviews, and Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) checks.
- Conduct home, business, and collateral visits for client verification and ongoing monitoring.
- Discuss verification findings with Loan Officers and provide guidance where necessary.
Portfolio Quality and Collections
- Enforce 100% on-time loan collection and apply a zero-tolerance approach to missed loan repayments.
- Monitor loan portfolio quality and take corrective action where risks are identified.
Market Research and Outreach
- Lead market research and survey activities within the assigned outreach coverage area to support portfolio growth and product relevance.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports against established targets.
- Submit timely performance updates to management and support data-driven decision-making.
Other Duties
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Branch/Business Center Manager or Regional Manager.
