Neelkanth Group was founded in 2007, in Tanzania with our flagship company Neelkanth Lime Limited. Our core focus was to develop chemical reagents such as quicklime and hydrated lime for the East African market. With the development of our core values, Neelkanth Group became the largest supplier of chemical reagents in the East African region supplying more than a million tons of chemical reagents across the last decade.
Neelkanth Group also simultaneously started operations in Zambia, manufacturing similar chemical reagents such as quick lime and hydrated lime to support the growing mining industry in neighbouring countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo and Malawi. Neelkanth Group developed a manufacturing facility in Ndola, Zambia which currently has over 5,000 employees and an annual capacity of 420,000 tons of lime-based chemical reagents.
As our core developments in the chemical reagent markets developed, Neelkanth Group vertically integrated our supply chain and began mining operations in Zambia & Tanzania. Currently, Neelkanth Group hosts some of the largest reserves of limestone, magnesite, lead and iron in the region. Currently, Neelkanth Group has invested heavily in mining & quarrying operations in Zambia & Tanzania holding large stocks of raw materials that are supplied across the region.

Neelkanth Salt Limited is inviting applications from qualified and motivated candidates to join the company as Machine Operator Interns.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Holder of VETA or recognized institutions Certificate in:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Or any other related technical field
- Basic knowledge of machine operation will be an added advantage
- Willingness to learn and work in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Internship Allowance
- TZS 200,000 per month
