Job Purpose

The Maintenance Worker – Mechanical will be responsible for repairing and maintaining company vehicles, trailers, farm machinery, implements, and mobile irrigation pumps according to established standards, using appropriate hand tools, manuals, and workshop equipment.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs on company vehicles, farm machinery, trailers, implements, and related equipment according to repair specifications.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing according to manufacturers’ specifications.
• Carry out vehicle tests and report faults or findings to the LDV & Truck Maintenance Foreman.
• Cooperate with management to support compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Perform all tasks with awareness of preventing pollution and protecting the surrounding environment.
• Ensure all operations comply with the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System to achieve required quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment through proper housekeeping.

Required Skills

• Pneumatic and hydraulic skills
• Automotive mechanics skills

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must have:

• Trade Test Grade II in Automotive Mechanics
• Ordinary Level Certificate (O-Level)
• 1–2 years of experience as a mechanic in a related working environment.
