Job Purpose
The Marketing Officer will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies aimed at enhancing the visibility, desirability, and commercial performance of Stan Safari, Tours, and Kinga Lodges.
The role involves managing:
- Marketing campaigns
- Partnerships
- Brand communications
- Digital content initiatives
- Local and international market engagement
Stan Safari is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional who will contribute to the company’s growth and achievement of its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Business Growth
- Develop and implement innovative marketing and sales strategies to increase bookings, revenue, and brand awareness.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and customer segments locally and internationally.
- Coordinate and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and other marketing initiatives.
Partnerships and Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with:
- Travel agents
- Tour operators
- Destination Management Companies (DMCs)
- Corporate clients
- Drive business growth through strategic partnerships and networking.
Digital Marketing and Content Management
- Manage the company’s digital presence, including:
- Social media platforms
- Website updates
- Google Business Profile
- TripAdvisor engagement
- Develop content calendars and coordinate with photographers, videographers, and designers to create compelling marketing materials.
Brand Promotion and Representation
- Represent Stan Safari at:
- Trade shows
- Tourism expos
- Roadshows
- Networking events
- Promote the company, its lodges, tours, and services to target markets.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Align marketing messaging with actual service delivery and customer expectations.
Market Research and Reporting
- Monitor tourism industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Support strategic decision-making and campaign optimization through market insights.
- Prepare monthly marketing and sales reports, including KPI analysis and performance evaluations.
Brand Management
- Ensure all branding and promotional materials comply with company standards, including:
- Signage
- Menus
- Brochures
- Advertisements
- Marketing collateral
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should possess the following:
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Marketing
- Sales
- Hospitality
- Tourism
- Business Administration
- Or a related field
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven marketing experience within:
- Safari operations
- Tourism
- Hospitality
- Related industries
- Experience within Tanzania’s tourism industry will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of:
- Digital marketing
- Social media management
- Content development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Creative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
