AKES, T invites applications from qualified and dynamic candidates for the position of Mathematics Teacher (IGCSE).

Position Summary

The successful candidate will be a passionate, experienced, and student-centred Mathematics Teacher responsible for delivering high-quality instruction under the Cambridge IGCSE Curriculum.

The teacher will inspire students to achieve academic excellence while developing their critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report on students’ academic progress and achievement.
• Differentiate teaching methods and learning activities to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Prepare students effectively for IGCSE examinations.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Participate in departmental planning, curriculum development, and school activities.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements

Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or training certification recognized by the relevant authorities.
• At least three years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
• Proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics and other related international curricula.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
