Objective of the Role

Geita Gold Mine is seeking experienced, qualified, enthusiastic, and motivated candidates to join its growing operator team within the Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Department.

The successful candidates will operate heavy mining equipment to support mining operations, conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance, and ensure that assigned work is completed according to operational plans while strictly adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

Role Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. A minimum of two years of experience operating dump trucks.

2. A valid heavy machinery driver’s licence.

3. A professional certificate in heavy machinery operation.

4. Completion of secondary school education.

5. A valid Tanzanian driving licence in Class C, D, E, F, and G, as specified in the vacancy.

6. Proficiency in reading and writing English.

7. A valid Police Clearance Certificate.

8. Successful candidates must undergo mandatory pre-employment medical examinations.
