Position: Physical Education & Swimming Assistant Coach
Job Location: Arusha, Tanzania

What You’ll Do

• Assist in delivering engaging Physical Education (P.E.) lessons for students aged 4–13.
• Support swimming lessons, squad training, stroke techniques and water safety.
• Supervise students and maintain high standards of safety and behaviour.
• Monitor student progress and prepare learners for sports competitions.
• Accompany sports teams to fixtures and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Assist with lesson planning, assessment, record-keeping and student progress reports.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong swimming ability with relevant proficiency certificates.
• Relevant P.E., sports coaching or teaching qualifications and/or experience.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and student management skills.
• A minimum of two professional referees, including one who can confirm swimming ability and experience.
• Willingness to undergo police safety record checks and mandatory safeguarding training.
• Experience coaching competitive swimming is an added advantage.
