Procurement Officer (IT Experience Required)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in Information Technology (IT) to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage procurement processes for IT equipment, software, and related services
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value and quality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers
- Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and annual procurement reports
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services in line with organizational needs
- Monitor market trends and recommend cost-effective purchasing strategies
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in IT-related products and services
- Experience working with Internet Service Provider (ISP) companies will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of IT equipment and systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with suppliers
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems
- Preparation of Local Purchase Orders (LPO) and issuing various quotations
