Main purpose of the role
The Project Facilitator will support implementation of the Empowered II project, which focuses on strengthening Domestic Workers’ Associations (DWAs), improving vocational training, promoting decent work, and preventing human trafficking and child labour.
Key responsibilities
- Mobilize domestic workers and communities to participate in project activities.
- Recruit beneficiaries for vocational training and CHODAWU membership.
- Coordinate with local government officials, community leaders and CHODAWU representatives.
- Monitor beneficiary participation and project progress.
- Provide coaching and follow-up to beneficiaries receiving microcredit/revolving funds.
- Facilitate savings groups, peer-support groups and branch meetings.
- Conduct awareness sessions on workers’ rights, gender equality, financial literacy and occupational safety.
- Support conflict resolution and mediation.
- Collect, verify and enter project data.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities, surveys and field assessments.
- Document lessons learned, best practices, challenges and risks.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for trainings, meetings and field activities.
- Help develop leadership and management capacity among domestic workers.
- Maintain professional relationships with government and community stakeholders.
- Support proper use of project funds, equipment and materials.
- Follow safeguarding, data protection, ethical and administrative procedures.

Education requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Human Resource Management, Education, or a related field.

- Diploma/certificate in Project Management, Community Mobilization or Gender Studies.
