Job Vacancy at Coastal Air, Tanzania — October 2026

Quality Manager – AMO

Established in 1987, Coastal Aviation (operating as Coastal Air) is a premier safari airline headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Self-styled as “The Flying Safari Company,” it plays a vital role in Tanzania’s tourism sector by connecting primary urban transport hubs—such as Dar es Salaam, Arusha, and Zanzibar—to remote bush airstrips across key safari circuits. Its extensive route network reaches remote wildlife reserves including the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Nyerere (Selous), and Ruaha, alongside coastal destinations like Mafia Island and Pemba, as well as regional flights to Kenya and Rwanda.
Operating a fleet optimized for short, unpaved bush runways—primarily consisting of Cessna 208 Grand Caravans and Pilatus PC-12s—the airline specializes in both scheduled bush flights and private charters. Safety and operational reliability are core focuses, backed by IATA Safety Standards Assessment (ISSA) certification and multi-crew flight configurations. By providing efficient point-to-point air access across East Africa’s top natural attractions, Coastal Air remains an essential transport partner for safari operators, lodges, and international travelers navigating the region.
