VACANCY FOR A RADIOGRAPHER
Primarily responsible for operating X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and operating imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images, both aiming to aid in the diagnosis of various patient conditions.
Requirements:
-
Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
-
Minimum of at least one-year professional experience in Radiology works
-
Certificate of registration to administer ionizing radiation to persons (Tanzania Atomic Energy Commission certification)
-
Proven knowledge in operating CT-Scan and MRI will be added advantage.

Knowledge of medical procedures and medicine
-
Ability to work independently, but also as a part of a healthcare team
-
Be flexible, ability to work well under pressure and able to manage stress
Responsibilities:
-
Performing diagnostic imaging to obtain clear, usable images
-
Prioritizing patients to complete all scheduled appointments and allow for emergency procedures
-
Monitoring the radiographic equipment and Ultra Sound machines ensuring there are usable and reliable
-
Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations
-
Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients’ records
-
Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
-
Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
-
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform well under pressure
-
Any other duties assigned
