DCB Commercial Bank PLC is a fully-fledged commercial bank in Tanzania, providing retail and corporate financial services to individuals, small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), and large corporate clients. Originally incorporated in September 2001 as the Dar es Salaam Community Bank, it began operations in 2002 as a regional microfinance institution focused on alleviating poverty and supporting the informal sector in the Dar es Salaam area.
