Role Overview

The Revenue Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance within the Revenue Assurance (RA) framework, minimizing revenue leakages, and supporting data-driven decision-making through analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Assurance Compliance

Maintain compliance levels above 99% for GSM operations
Implement RA SOPs and manuals to address emerging and existing risks
Ensure adherence to internal audit requirements

Revenue Protection & Optimization

Detect and resolve revenue leakages
Identify missed revenue opportunities
Continuously review service and revenue paths to strengthen controls

Data Analytics & Reporting

Use DBMS tools for data mining, analysis, and reporting
Track key revenue and subscriber KPIs
Monitor product performance and generate actionable insights
Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management and Group RAFM
Report revenue loss incidents and KPI performance

Systems & Process Improvement

Support system launches with risk analysis to ensure “First Time Right” implementation
Develop and maintain UAT templates, knowledge bases, and best practices
Implement group-wide initiatives and process improvements

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work with cross-functional teams (CFT) to understand system architecture and revenue flows
Perform UAT testing and highlight emerging risks
Ensure timely issue resolution and escalation where necessary

SQL & Technical Execution

Apply SQL best practices for accurate data extraction and reporting
Understand business logic for data analysis and reporting accuracy

Qualifications and Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in ICT or related field

Experience

1–2 years in Telecom, ICT, or Billing Assurance

Technical Skills

Strong SQL skills (mandatory)
Knowledge of:
- Relational databases
- Data extraction and manipulation
- Telecom charging, tariffs, interconnect, and roaming billing

Key Competencies

Strong communication (verbal and written)
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in teams
Understanding of project management principles
Ability to interpret financial results in telecom operations
Problem-solving mindset with a “big picture” perspective
