Job Overview
The Revolving Fund Officer will oversee the management and implementation of revolving fund activities within the organization’s programs. The role focuses on ensuring transparent, accountable, and strategic management of funds disbursed to:
- Women groups
- Youth groups
- Cooperatives
- Entrepreneurs and startups
Key Responsibilities
Revolving Fund Management
- Develop revolving fund frameworks, guidelines, and operational processes
- Coordinate startup funding applications and selection processes
- Manage fund disbursement, monitoring, and accountability
- Ensure compliance and transparency in revolving fund operations
Entrepreneurs Assessment & Due Diligence
- Conduct business assessments and evaluations
- Review business models, financial projections, and growth potential
- Support due diligence processes for interest-free loans
Startup Financial Support
- Provide financial advisory services to entrepreneurs
- Support businesses on:
- Financial planning
- Sustainability
- Scaling strategies
- Assist entrepreneurs in preparing loan proposals
Partnership & Resource Mobilization
- Build relationships with:
- Investors
- Donors
- Financial institutions
- Development partners
- Identify co-investment and startup financing opportunities
- Support fundraising initiatives
Monitoring, Reporting & Learning
- Track fund utilization and entrepreneur performance
- Monitor business growth and impact outcomes
- Prepare financial and impact reports for management and partners
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Community Development
- Development Planning and Management
- Finance and Accounting
- Business Administration
- Related fields
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years in:
- Investment management
- Startup financing
- Venture support
- SME financing
- Experience with:
- Startups
- Innovation hubs
- Accelerators
- Entrepreneurship programs is highly desirable
