Job Title: Sales Agronomist
Location: all Zones – Bora Agro Solutions Ltd,

Reports To: Sales Manager

Start Date: Early June 2026 (3 months of Probation Period) .

Job Purpose  

To drive product awareness, sales growth and customer satisfaction through technical agronomic support and field demonstrations. The Sales Agronomist will serve as the link between farmers, distributors and Bora Agro Solutions Ltd, ensuring that our maize &vegetable seeds, fertilizers, crop protection and vet products deliver measurable impact on crop yield and quality.

Key Responsibilities 

– Promote and sell Bora Agro Solutions’ product portfolio including maize and vegetable seeds, soil‑enhancing fertilizers and crop protection chemicals.

  • Conduct field visits, demonstrations and farmer training sessions to showcase product performance.
  • Provide agronomic advice and technical support tailored to crops such as maize, beans, horticultural crops, and cash crops.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including cooperatives, agro‑dealers, and extension officers.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, including market feedback and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional activities and exhibitions.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.

Qualifications & Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in agricultural sales or extension services.
  • Strong understanding of local farming systems and crop management practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned zones.
  • Previous work experience in agriculture sector will be an added advantage.
